OddBall (Pty) Ltd is a 100% citizen-owned civil engineering, construction, fabrication and environmental services company based in Ghanzi, Botswana. 2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you complete a contact form, a quotation request or the newsletter signup, we collect the details you enter. Depending on the form, that can include your name, email address, phone number, company or project name, site location, the service you are enquiring about, your scope and programme details, and any files you attach.

Information we collect automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting and analytics tools may record your IP address, browser and device type, approximate location, the pages you view, the site you arrived from, and the dates and times of your visits.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation for your project
• To manage a project we are carrying out for you, including site, compliance and programme coordination
• To send you the newsletter, where you have signed up for it
• To keep records required for accounting, tax, insurance and regulatory purposes

• To protect the site against misuse and to meet our legal obligations

4. Our lawful basis

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where it is necessary, with:

• Our website host and email provider, which store the site and deliver messages
• Gravity Forms, which stores form entries within our own website
• Zoho CRM, where an enquiry is passed into our customer records system
• Google, through Google Analytics and Google Search Console, for website statistics
• Our professional advisers, insurers and auditors where required
• Authorities and regulators where the law requires it

Some of these providers process data outside Botswana. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected to a comparable standard.

6. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the site to work, and others help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and quotation records for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Project and financial records are kept for as long as required by law and by our insurers. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including access controls and encrypted connections to this site. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Subject to Botswana data protection law, you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you and to provide a copy, correct information that is inaccurate, delete information we no longer need, restrict or object to certain processing, or withdraw consent you have given. This site is aimed at businesses and professional clients. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
